Today's recipe for lovers of cabbage rolls who do not have enough time or do not have inspiration for their traditional performance.

The whole essence of the dish is fully reflected in its name. Fast, affordable, easy. In addition, lazy cabbage rolls also have a positive aspect. The presence of fiber in vegetables, meat protein and carbohydrates in cereals makes the dish balanced and complete.

And again I will use my assistant - the multicooker.

Ingredients:

White cabbage - 500 grams

Minced meat - 500 grams

Rice - 0.5 cups

Bulb onions - 2 pcs.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Salt - 1 tsp

Bay leaf - 2 pcs.

Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons

Water - 200 ml.

Spices to taste

Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons

Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp

Course of action:

 Step 1 of 13
Step 1 of 13

I am preparing the necessary set of products. For minced meat, I twist a piece of lean pork through a meat grinder. As a seasoning, I use a ready-made mixture of spices (garlic, paprika, onion, chili, coriander, black pepper). Instead of tomato paste, you can use any

tomato sauce or canned tomatoes.

Step 2 of 13

Cut the carrots and onions into strips.

Step 3 of 13

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and spread the vegetables. I choose the "Fry" mode in the "Menu" for 15 minutes. The time is set automatically.

Saute vegetables for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. At the same time, I do not close the lid of the multicooker in order to control the degree of frying.

Shinny cabbage. The size and shape of the pieces of your choice. I spread the cabbage to the carrots and onions and fry them together for the remaining time in the "Fry" mode. I stir it.

Step 5 of 13

I add spices to vegetables, 0.5 tsp. salt, bay leaf, tomato paste and water. I put the bowl in the multicooker, close the lid and turn on the “Stew” mode in the “Menu”. The automatically set time is 60 minutes.

To prepare meat balls, pour boiling water over the rice in advance and leave it to cool completely. Then I rinse it until light water and put it on a sieve.

Step 7 of 13
Step 7 of 13

I mix minced meat with chopped onion, semi-cooked rice, 0.5 tsp. salt and ground black pepper. I knead the mixture well so that it becomes more viscous.

Step 8 of 13
Step 8 of 13

With moistened hands, I form meatballs, the size of a small orange.

Step 9 of 13
Step 9 of 13

I spread the meat balls on top of the vegetables and leave the multicooker in the "Stew" mode until the end of the set time.

Step 10 of 13

It took me an additional 10 minutes to prepare the dish and the 50 remaining minutes were enough for the stuffed cabbage rolls to fully cook. Otherwise, you will have to increase the extinguishing time.

Lazy cabbage rolls are ready.
