While summer, many believe, you need to eat off and "stock up" on vitamins that are found in fruits and berries. But is it really that useful? According to the gastroenterologist Veronica Shabanova, only fat-soluble vitamins can be accumulated in this way, and they are found mainly in animal products.

The nutrients contained in berries and fruits cannot be accumulated in this way - they are useful “here and now”.

Therefore, it makes no sense to eat them in buckets, anyway the human body will take as much as it needs. But oversaturation with fruit fiber, which is found in berries and fruits, can cause intestinal problems. Doctors recommend a daily portion of about 400 g of fruits and berries per day.
