Most often, among the recipes for salads with crab sticks, there are those with canned corn. But this is not at all required, but just an arbitrary ingredient. Today I offer an equally tasty option - without corn. It combines soft sticks and hard-boiled eggs with fresh vegetables, which makes the mix both tender and juicy at the same time. Serve the salad immediately after dressing; long soaking is unnecessary.

Ingredients:
Crab sticks - 150 g
Eggs - 2 pcs.
Fresh cucumber (large) - 1 pc.
Tomatoes - 2 pcs.
Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp l.
Arugula, parsley - for serving
Salt, hot pepper - to taste
Step by step recipe:
For a homemade corn-free crab stick salad, take the foods listed. The dressing in this appetizer is mayonnaise: light, low-calorie and more liquid or thick, fatty - decide for yourself. Love the spiciness, additionally add vinegar, lemon juice, onions.
Boil and cool two hard-boiled eggs in advance (cook in boiling water for 10 minutes). Defrost the sticks if necessary. It will be enough to scald, soak for a couple of minutes in very hot water, you can also sprinkle with sour citrus juice.
So the cutting sequence doesn't matter. Let's say we cut a large cucumber first. Remove the tough peel, cut the rest into small cubes. I advise you not to chop too thin plates, circles or slices - excess juice will stand out.
In tomatoes, remove the places of growth of the stalk, then cut into pieces of medium size.
Eggs peeled from the shell can be easily cut with a knife or passed through a grater with shavings. It can be large, it can be small - a matter of taste and personal preference. The egg yolk is partially mixed with mayonnaise into a single dressing.
Cut the thawed crab sticks into transverse fragments. If you like it smaller, sell it on a grater.
The first time we mix all the slices ourselves, then with mayonnaise, salt and ground pepper. We remove the sample.
Decorate with greenery branches and serve salad with crab sticks to the table.
