Rice with meat in a slow cooker turns out to be very satisfying, rich and velvety in taste. Such a dish will easily satisfy your hunger and satisfy you almost all day. If there is lamb or pork available, then it is best to cook rice with this type of meat, since beef takes longer to cook and contains practically no fat. Choose flesh with small greasy layers: ribs or underwings.
Remember to cook the meat for 1 hour first, and then add the washed rice. Otherwise, either the meat will turn out to be tough, and the rice will be well cooked, or the meat will be soft, and the cereals will boil down into mashed potatoes or porridge. Since lamb is quite fatty, you do not need to add additional butter / vegetable oil, but various seasonings will come in handy!

Ingredients:
Lamb - 500 g
Rice - 150 g
Water - 0.8 l
Bay leaf - 3 pcs.
Salt - 0.5 tsp
Ground black pepper - 3 pinches
How to cook:
Prepare food.
Rinse the meat in water, cut off films and veins from it, especially if, like me, you cook mutton. Cut into pieces and place in a multicooker bowl. Add bay leaves, salt and hot water. Activate the "Cooking" or "Meat" mode on the equipment display for about 1 hour, close the lid and wait for the sound signal.
After the indicated time, taste the meat - it should be soft and remove itself from the bones.
Rinse the cereals in water and add directly to the broth in the multicooker bowl. For quick cooking, choose any kind of parboiled rice: long grain or round grain.
Pepper, add other spices and herbs as desired. You can press a couple of peeled garlic cloves if you like garlic flavored dishes. Rice porridge with chopped dill or parsley is very tasty.
Activate the "Rice" or "Cooking" mode for 20 minutes. Cover the appliance with a lid.
Stir the rice after 5-10 minutes so that it does not stick to the bottom of the bowl. You don't need to stir too often.
As soon as the beep sounds, the crumbly and delicious rice with meat in the slow cooker will be ready.
Place it on plates along with the flavored lamb chunks. Serve with vegetable salad or fresh vegetables, dip, sour cream of any fat content, etc.
