Doctor Alexander Myasnikov, a leading Moscow doctor, spoke about the most dangerous products that can cause the development of dangerous ailments, including cancer.
According to Myasnikov, 20% of all oncological diseases occur due to an incorrectly composed diet or excessive nutrition, especially if a person consumes a large number of calories. This, coupled with lack of physical activity, can lead to serious problems.
As the specialist notes, the main food poison is trans fats.
These are artificial fats that are obtained in the production of food products during specific processing. In his opinion, they lower the level of "good" cholesterol in the blood, which helps in cleaning blood vessels, increase "bad" cholesterol, and this is the most harmful thing in food.
Most of this harmful substance is found in:
- butter and margarine;
- mayonnaise and store sauces;
- fast food;
- cheap chocolate.
In addition, they recommend limiting the use of sugar, because we use it not only when added to tea and coffee (or better, by the way, to use it without it at all). Sugar is found in most of the products that we buy in stores, especially in convenience foods, sausages, sausages.
Another reason for the development of dangerous diseases is a large amount of salt in the diet. According to the latest data, residents of Russia consume about 10-12 g of salt per day per person, although the norm is only 5 g.
Diabetics, people with heart disease and in general everyone over the age of 50 can consume no more than 2 g of salt per day.
Other dangerous products according to Myasnikov:
- Refined grains such as semolina or white rice
- flour products made from white flour.
As the doctor notes, such products have the same effect on our body as an exceeded dose of sugar. Their regular use can lead to the development of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
