Stewed zucchini with meat is one of the easiest and quickest dishes to prepare. To speed up the cooking process as much as possible, you can take a chicken breast, which takes literally 10 minutes to cook. Serve this dish very tasty with mashed potatoes, rice, buckwheat or pasta, although if you are categorical opponent of carbohydrates, that is, side dishes, then zucchini with meat can be served independently, without any additions.
Ingredients:
Zucchini - 1 pc.
Chicken breast - 300 g
Onions - 50 g
Carrots - 70 g
Garlic - 1 clove
Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ch.m. pepper - taste
Lean oil - 1 tablespoon
Parsley - 10 g
How to cook:
Prepare all the necessary foods from the list. Wash the chicken breast under running water, pat dry with a paper towel. Peel the onions, garlic and carrots. Wash these vegetables along with the squash and herbs.
Heat lean refined oil in a frying pan, put onion chopped into half rings and carrots in small slices. Fry over medium heat for 3-4 minutes, until slightly golden brown.
Cut the chicken fillet into thin strips, transfer to the pan for 1 minute. You just need it to change color to white.
Add zucchini cut into the same thin strips immediately into the pan. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
Next, pour in hot water from the kettle. Add your favorite tomato sauce, crushed clove of garlic and simmer over low heat for another 5-7 minutes. If you do not like the aroma of garlic, but its taste, then you can skip it through the garlic. During this time, the water will boil a little and the gravy will become thicker, and the zucchini and chicken fillet will cook.
Now you can salt and pepper the gravy to taste, add chopped fresh parsley to it. Hold on the fire for a minute or two, turn off the stove - the dish is ready.
You can serve zucchini with meat in the same pan in which they were stewed. Very tasty to dip fresh bread in the gravy. Remember to catch and discard the garlic before serving if the clove was intact.
