Today I propose to cook a classic French omelet - tender, airy, very tasty and high in calories. The basis of this dish is just eggs and butter, but sometimes fresh herbs are added, which we will certainly do too. A properly cooked French omelet should have a liquid center, but that's for your taste, I prefer the fried one. Be sure to take a frying pan with a non-stick coating, it will be easier and more convenient to cook on it.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken egg - 3 pcs.
  • Butter - 50 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ch.m. pepper - taste
  • Parsley - a couple of twigs

How to cook:

Prepare all the food you need to make the omelet. The eggs should be selected, if they are of the first category, then you can take a little less butter.

Drive fresh chicken eggs into a comfortable deep bowl.

Beat them lightly until smooth. You do not need to beat until lush white foam, you just need to mix the whites with the yolks.

Preheat the skillet slightly, put a piece of butter in it. Melt it over low heat. It is impossible for the oil to begin to gilder, let alone burn and boil.

Slowly pour melted butter into beaten eggs. Stir with a fork to prevent curdling.

Now is the time to add the chopped fresh herbs, salt and pepper to taste. If you don't want black pepper to be visible in the finished dish, replace it with white.

Pour the egg mixture into the same skillet where the butter was heated. Cook the omelet over low heat until the bottom seals. You can't let it brown up a lot from below, it should be slightly golden. Move the finished omelet to the middle so that the liquid mass is also cooked. When the top remains slightly thin, roll it up.

That's all. A hearty and delicious breakfast is ready. Place the French omelet on a platter and serve with a fresh bread and your favorite vegetables - tomato, cucumber, radish, etc.
