Today I come to you with a simple, but very original recipe that will surprise you and please the guests - “Herring under a fur coat” on the contrary. I spied such an interesting way of making a popular salad at a party. Of course, at first I liked the unusual presentation - cute balls with fish immediately attract attention, they are bright and quite cute. What can I say for the taste - superb, amazing, everything is so harmonious! I immediately took note of this recipe, repeated it at home, and now I will always have such a snack on my New Year's or any festive table. You should definitely try it too, I am sure that everyone will like this classic taste, and the serving of the dish will not leave anyone indifferent.
Ingredients:
- Beets - 200 g
- Potatoes - 200 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 pc.
- Herring - 300 g
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Wine vinegar - 1 tbsp.
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Salt, pepper - to taste
Prepare everything according to the list. Boil the egg, potatoes and beets.
Chop the fish finely. Pre-profile the herring well so that there are no bones. Peel, chop or chop the onion in a blender. Sprinkle the onion and herring with vinegar and pepper.
Grate potatoes and beets on a fine grater. Place the grated vegetables in a bowl. Add mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
Grate chicken egg with fine shavings. Add to container.
Mix everything well, remove a sample.
Now form balls from this mass and make a small depression in the center of each.
Place some herring and onion in the holes.
So our delicious appetizer is ready.
