As a result, when the manufacturer removes the fat, the taste also disappears. And to replenish it, a large amount of sugar is added. Yes, as a result, low-calorie foods that contain a lot of refined carbohydrates enter the market.
And this is dangerous. After all, studies prove that the inclusion of such foods in your diet threatens with extra pounds.
The magazine "Food and Nutrition Research" has published more than 50 works of authors who researched diets, food. As a result, it turned out that the more refined carbohydrates, for example, sugar, in food products, the higher the likelihood of extra pounds appearing up to obesity.

Many are sure that sportsmen need special “sports” drinks to prepare for training and recover from it. But scientists say the opposite - for recovery and muscle building, it is best to drink clean water and consume protein.
"Light" ice cream (low fat content)
Many people mistakenly believe that foods that contain less fat in their composition are more useful and can be used to get rid of extra pounds.
But the findings of a study by scientists at Harvard University, which lasted more than 8 years (more than 50 thousand women took part in them), proved that this opinion was wrong. Those of the participants who ate a low-calorie diet and tried to limit their fat intake did not lose weight. In addition, they also had cardiovascular and other pathologies.
And this fear of fatty foods began to develop in the mid-80s of the last century, when many newspapers came out with headlines that fat "kills" a person. But as many studies show, our body needs it. And it's better to get it from healthy foods: fish, nuts, avocados.
Granola
The constant advertising of granola has hammered into many heads: this product is very useful for health. In addition, it allows you to significantly save time - just pour milk or juice over the muesli. However, this is not the case.
