Salted pink salmon for salmon is an interesting recipe for salting this dryish fish. As a result of such salting, it becomes tender and oily, which makes it very similar to the noble salmon.
This fish can be used as a standalone snack or as part of sandwiches. It goes well with butter, curd cheese and herbs in baked snack fillings.
Step by step recipe:
Prepare food for pickling.
Pour salt into a deep container, preferably coarse crystalline.
Pour it with cold boiled water and stir until it dissolves completely. The solution should be very saturated.
Wash pink salmon, if necessary, be sure to blot with a napkin and separate the skin.
Use a sharp knife to cut the fish into 0.5-0.7 cm slices.
Place the chopped pink salmon in a salt solution and hold for 20-25 minutes.
Then rinse it well under running very cold water.
Dry off residual moisture with a paper towel.
Pour in sunflower oil so that all pieces are covered with a thin layer of oil. Let them sit for a while and soak - the longer, the tastier the fish will be.
That's all - salted pink salmon for salmon is ready!
Serve it as an appetizer, make sandwiches. Salted pink salmon is good on any table, both on holidays and on weekdays!
