The new year 2020 is approaching, and many housewives are thinking about what dish is best to surprise the guests and the gathered relatives. In order not to take your free time and quickly prepare a colorful treat, turn your attention to the "Rat" tartlets - hardly anyone will refuse to try them!
This exciting snack, decorated in the appropriate style, will surely appeal to children. The main thing is to remove the eyes and nose made from black peppercorns before tasting.
The filling for tartlets can be any: vegetable, meat, sausage or seafood. Create the top layer from finely grated chicken proteins mixed with mayonnaise of any fat content, but not with sour cream.
Ingredients:
Tartlets - 6 pcs.
Seafood cocktail (vacuum 165 g) - 1 pc.
Boiled chicken eggs - 2-3 pcs.
Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 2 pinches
Black peppercorns - 20 pcs.
How to cook:
Prepare food.
Boil chicken eggs in advance and cool them in ice water. Peel off the shell and rinse, then divide into whites and yolks.
Open preserves or vacuum sealed seafood cocktails. Cut them into small cubes in a deep bowl. Put the boiled chicken yolks there and mash. Pour in the aromatic oil remaining in the cocktail package in a tablespoon. Add a pinch of salt and mix thoroughly.
If you will separately cook seafood for the filling, then remember that they all have different cooking times. You can simply buy capelin caviar and mix it with yolks - fantasize, create new culinary dishes!
Fill the tartlets with the filling just before serving, keeping them in the refrigerator, otherwise they will get soaked and not crunchy. Leave the white of one or two eggs to cut the ears.
Grate boiled chicken proteins on a grater with fine cells in a bowl or salad bowl, add salt and add mayonnaise of any fat content.
Spread the protein mass in an even layer on the filling in the tartlets, press lightly.
Cut the ears out of the remaining boiled chicken proteins and place them on the sides of the tartlets. Make eyes and a nose out of black peppercorns. Dried cloves can be used instead of pepper.
Serve a colorful appetizer in the form of rats to the New Year's table on lettuce leaves.
