Getting ready for the New Year 2020 🎄: salad "Watch"

If you can't imagine your New Year's table without hearty salads, then try making one of them according to this recipe. The combination of ingredients is very good, everything is in its place. And to give the salad a theme, you can make it in the form of a clock, reminiscent of the approaching New Year.

How to cook:

Prepare all the food you need (ingredients at the end). Boil vegetables and eggs until tender. Eggs are usually boiled no longer than 10 minutes, potatoes and carrots - 15-20.

Cool everything down. Peel eggs and vegetables from the skin. Separate the whites from the yolks.

Grate potatoes on a coarse grater, lay out in the first layer. Salt and pepper it a little, be sure to grease it with mayonnaise so that it is not dry.

Remove the chicken meat from the bones and skin, cut into small cubes. Place it on top of the potatoes.

Mushrooms can be any, I have mushrooms. Chop them finely, lay them on top of the chicken.

Next comes the grated processed cheese.

The next layers will be carrots with mayonnaise and grated chicken yolk. They can be slightly salted. Leave some carrots for making the dial and hands.

Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on all sides of the salad.

Grate the egg white on the finest grater. Try to "stick" it evenly on all sides of the salad. Dry the dish with a wet, clean towel.

I cut out blanks for numbers with a cutter for cookies. See what you have for that suitable one. The arrows can simply be cut into thin stripes. Draw the numbers with mayonnaise and set them to the "clock". Cover the salad with cling film and leave to soak for a couple of hours.
