Dressing for vinaigrette, with which the salad will be even tastier

The vinaigrette is very popular and familiar to us since the times of Soviet canteens. It is prepared by any housewife, and if you compare, then each one will have a different taste.

An essential part of success is a properly prepared vinaigrette dressing. Indeed, this often happens, adding oil with a bitter or overly spicy aroma to the salad, its taste spoils.

The origin of the vinaigrette speaks for itself. Literally translated, the word "vinaigre" means "vinegar". But I honestly don't really like this vinegar salad, I prefer using lemon juice. And to stabilize the dressing, I always add mustard.

Ingredients:

  • Sunflower oil - 6 tbsp l
  • Lemon - 0.5 pcs.
  • Salt - 1 pinch
  • Sugar -1 pinch
  • French mustard - 2 tsp l
  • Ground black pepper - 1 pinch

Prepare all the ingredients you need.

As mentioned above, the base of the dressing is vinegar. Therefore, if you love it, then use white wine. For a given amount of dressing, two tablespoons will be enough. However, I chose lemon juice, it is important for me that the sauce itself is sour, then the vinaigrette will come out with a balanced taste.

I always use French mustard in grains in salads - it is not so vigorous and has a more piquant aroma.

Pay particular attention to the choice of oil - this is very important! Don't use olive, flaxseed, corn, or any other. Always choose tasty, aromatic sunflower oil for your refueling. It is better to look for this from farmers or at the market, and do not forget to try so that there is no bitter taste. Well, or choose the oil in the store, the manufacturer of which you trust.

In a small salad bowl, add the whole grain mustard, salt, sugar, and pepper mixture. You can use regular black pepper, ideally freshly ground.

Add lemon juice. If you get any bones, remove them.

Pour the sunflower oil into a bowl and stir the sauce well.

Pour it into a suitable container and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Season the finished vinaigrette with dressing just before serving.
