Ingredients per 1 L can:
Cucumbers - 600 -700 g
Salt - 1 tablespoon
Horseradish leaf - 1 pc.
Dill with an umbrella - 1 pc.
Cherry leaves - 3 pcs.
Currant leaves - 3 pcs.
Garlic - 2 cloves
Bulb onions -30 g
Hot pepper - to taste
Bay leaf - 2-3 pcs.
Peppercorns - 6 pcs.
How to salt cucumbers:
1. To prepare homemade lightly salted cucumbers, prepare the foods according to the list. The quantities shown are for a liter can. Wash cucumbers, horseradish and fruit leaves.
2. Put horseradish, dill umbrella, cherry and currant leaves, garlic and onions, cut into slices, at the bottom of the jar.
3. Cut the cucumbers on both sides by 0.5-1 cm, so they will be salted faster, and we will save ourselves from the bitter taste if the tails have accumulated bitterness.
4. Fold the cucumbers tightly into a jar, add hot peppers to taste.
5. Put salt (1 tablespoon per 500 grams of water), peppercorns and bay leaf in a saucepan.
6. Add clean drinking water, boil, the salt should completely dissolve.
7. Pour boiling brine over the cucumbers in the jar.
8. When the brine in the jar has cooled, cover it with a lid and leave the cucumbers at room temperature for a day.
9. After a day, the brine in the jar will become a little cloudy, and the cucumbers will change their color.
10. Pickles can already be tasted.
