Beetroot, carrot and cheese salad is one of the easiest to prepare. It is spicy and hearty, it may well replace a summer lunch or dinner for a girl.
Ingredients:
- Beets - 250 g
- Carrots - 200 g
- Cheese - 60 g
- Salt - 2 g
- Mayonnaise - 30 g
- Dill - 3 g
- Cilantro - 3 g
- Almonds - 5 g (for serving)
Step by step recipe:
Prepare food.
Pour water over the beets and carrots. Boil the root vegetables. It is better to do it in this way: these vegetables accumulate nitrates more than others, which remain in the water during cooking.
Cool the root vegetables.
Peel off the top skin.
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Grate hard cheese in the same way.
Add the beets grated in the same way to the total mass. Season the prepared ingredients with mayonnaise. Season with salt and herbs.
Mix everything well.
Divide into serving bowls, garnish with chopped almonds and cilantro.
Serve as a bright and tasty snack.
