Express recipe with simple products: a light salad of beets, carrots and cheese

Beetroot, carrot and cheese salad is one of the easiest to prepare. It is spicy and hearty, it may well replace a summer lunch or dinner for a girl.

Ingredients:

  • Beets - 250 g
  • Carrots - 200 g
  • Cheese - 60 g
  • Salt - 2 g
  • Mayonnaise - 30 g
  • Dill - 3 g
  • Cilantro - 3 g
  • Almonds - 5 g (for serving)

Prepare food.

Pour water over the beets and carrots. Boil the root vegetables. It is better to do it in this way: these vegetables accumulate nitrates more than others, which remain in the water during cooking.

Cool the root vegetables.

Peel off the top skin.

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
