Ingredients:
Hard cheese - 60 g
Milk - 180 ml
Nutmeg - 1 pinch
Ground black salt and pepper - to taste
Wheat flour - 1 tsp
Butter - 10 g
Bay leaf - 1 pc.
Bulb onions - ½ pc.
Step by step recipe:
Step 1 - We prepare the necessary products according to the list.
Step 2 - Pour milk into a bowl, put peeled onions and bay leaves in it. We put on fire, bring to a boil. Leave covered for 20 minutes.
Step 3 - Strain the milk, discard the bay leaf and onion, we will not need them anymore.
Step 4 - Reheat the butter pan.
Step 5 - Pour milk into the pan and add flour. Mix well, make sure there are no lumps, and bring to a boil, not forgetting to stir occasionally.
Step 6 - Salt and pepper to taste, add nutmeg. You need just a little salt, do not forget that the cheese itself is already salty. Nutmeg can be substituted with basil or Provencal herbs. Next, add the cheese, grated on a medium grater.
Step 7 - Stirring continuously, heat the mixture to a boil and smooth.
Step 8 - A simple cheese pasta sauce is ready.
