Stolichny salad with smoked chicken

For some reason I am more than sure that there are probably very few people in our country who are indifferent to the "Capital" salad. This is, in fact, the same "Olivier", only with your favorite meat. I cook many of his options: with ham, with boiled beef or chicken, with doctor's sausage, but our family's favorite is smoked chicken. Try to prepare this particular option on occasion, you will definitely like it.

Ingredients:

Smoked chicken - 200 g

Potatoes - 5 pcs.

Carrots - 2 pcs.

Chicken egg - 3 pcs.

Canned peas - 200 g

Pickled cucumber - 150 g

Mayonnaise - 4 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Ground pepper - to taste

Preparation:

1. To prepare Stolichny salad with chicken, prepare all the necessary products. Any smoked chicken is suitable for this recipe, that is, whatever parts you want - fillet is ideal, and it will be budgetary with a leg or thigh. By the way, smoked chicken wings are the least suitable for a salad, as it will be very fatty. Potatoes and carrots should be washed under running water with a hard kitchen sponge.

2. Put vegetables in a saucepan or cauldron, boil until tender. I will not indicate the time, since each variety of potatoes and carrots is different, therefore, as soon as the knife easily enters the vegetable, it is ready. Eggs can also be boiled along with vegetables, but for complete peace of mind, it is better to wash them with soap and running water, I hope everyone knows why. Cook them for no longer than 10 minutes, cool them in very cold water.

3. While the vegetables are boiling, chop the other ingredients. Pickled cucumbers should be chopped into very small cubes. Add canned green peas. Naturally, you must first drain the water. Half a can of peas is more than enough for this amount of food.

4. Peel the chicken legs from bones and skin. Cut the meat in the same small cubes, add to a bowl.

5. By this time, boiled potatoes, carrots and eggs should have cooled down. We clean them from the peel and shell, cut into small cubes, add to the salad bowl.

6. Salad should be seasoned with salt and pepper to taste, seasoned with mayonnaise and mixed thoroughly so that all ingredients are well seasoned with this delicious sauce.

You can serve "Capital" salad with smoked chicken both in a large deep plate and in portions. Very tasty, I recommend!
