My son loves puff pastry pizza. He makes me cook it once a week for sure. Honestly, this is done very simply and quickly, so anyone can cook it - even a schoolboy.
The filling for such homemade pizza can be absolutely any - whichever you like best. It will turn out especially delicious with smoked meat and salami, although it all depends on personal tastes and preferences, I personally like it with seafood.
Ingredients:
Puff pastry - 500 g
Ketchup - 4 tablespoons
White onions - 0.5 pcs.
Large tomato - 1 pc.
Salami - 200 g
Hard cheese - 120 g
Olives - 8-10 pcs.
Champignons - 2 pcs.
Flour - 3-4 tablespoons
Preparation:
Prepare foods from the list. It is better to take a puff pastry for pizza without yeast, although, to be honest, on yeast it will also be tasty, only very satisfying.
Pre-defrost the dough at room temperature without removing the packaging. Wash all the vegetables, dry them, cut them into slices convenient for you with the salami, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
After sprinkling flour on the table, roll out a layer 0.5 mm thick, attach a lid from a large saucepan to it, cut off the excess dough with a knife. Transfer the base to a baking sheet sprinkled with lightly flour, prick with a fork, otherwise it may swell during baking.
Brush the dough with your favorite ketchup, lay out the chopped lettuce onions, randomly chopped champignon and tomato slices.
Put the chopped sausage on top of the tomatoes, sprinkle with grated hard cheese.
Place the olives last on top. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, put the pizza in it and bake for 15-20 minutes in the top and bottom heating mode.
Roll out the remaining trimmed dough into a circle and make another slightly smaller pizza.
Puff pastry pizza is ready - delicious, crispy dough and juicy filling. Serve hot, immediately after cooking. A cup of delicious coffee, tea or milk will perfectly complement it.
Enjoy!
