Ingredients:
Salmon - 4 steaks
Garlic - 3 cloves
Liquid honey - 1 tbsp.
Water - 30 ml.
Lemon - 0.5 pcs.
Salt - 1 tsp
White pepper - 0.5 tsp
Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Course of action:
1. Prepare the required foods. If using salmon carcass, pre-cut it into steaks at least 2 cm thick.
If desired, the fish can be rolled up in the form of medallions, bending the free abdominal ends to the center and tied with twine.
2. Season with salt and pepper and put in a bowl.
3. Cut the lemon into slices, crush the garlic with a knife blade.
4. Heat a small amount of olive oil in a grill pan. Put lemon circles and garlic cloves, fry on all sides for 3 minutes.
5. Then lay out the salmon medallions and fry on both sides until golden brown and characteristic grill stripes. Enough 3 minutes per side. The main thing is not to overdry the fish.
6. Dissolve honey with water and pour into a hot frying pan. As soon as the mass thickens and begins to caramelize, reduce the heat to minimum and pour the sauce over the salmon.
7. Make sure that the sauce does not start to burn, otherwise the fish will taste bitter. Once it has a caramel sheen, remove from heat.
The caramelized salmon steak can be served with rice as a side dish.
