Yeast dough for pancakes with milk

The success of delicious pancakes is the right dough. Today I will share one of my favorite recipes, according to which pancakes are always chic: thin, delicate, elastic and very tasty. And all thanks to the yeast dough. Try it out!

Ingredients:

Milk - 2 cups

Wheat flour - 1 glass

Salt - a pinch

Sugar - 1 tablespoon

Dry yeast - 1 tsp

Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

To make pancake yeast dough, prepare the ingredients according to the recipe list.

Sift wheat flour into a container suitable for kneading. For best results, do this several times using a fine sieve. Thus, the flour will be saturated with oxygen, which will have a positive effect on the final result.

Add dry yeast, granulated sugar and a pinch of salt to the flour. The amount of sugar can be changed based on your taste preferences. Mix dry ingredients together.

Combine warm milk, egg, and vegetable oil in a separate bowl. Beat with a whisk (with a fork or mixer) until smooth. In the flour mixture, make a depression in the center and pour out the liquid.

Stir the dough, trying to break all the lumps and make it as homogeneous as possible. Cover the bowl with a towel and let sit for 1 hour in a warm place.

After the lapse of time, the pancake yeast dough will be fully usable.

Preheat a skillet over high heat and brush with a thin layer of vegetable oil. Sometimes a piece of fresh lard is used for these purposes. Since we have already added oil to the dough, we will have to grease it only before baking the first pancake.

Reduce heat to medium and pour out some of the dough, spread over the entire bottom of the pan.

Wait for a lot of bubbles to appear on the surface, and use a wooden spatula to turn the pancake to the other side. Cook for about a minute, then transfer to a plate.

In this way, fry the pancakes one by one until the dough runs out.

With yeast dough mixed according to this recipe, very beautiful and delicate pancakes are obtained. Serve them warm. And due to the fact that their structure is elastic, any filling can be wrapped inside.
