A hearty and juicy salad with smoked chicken and tomatoes can be served both on weekdays and on a festive table. The dish is easy to prepare, and the ingredients can be found at any convenience store or supermarket.
It is permissible to replace smoked chicken breast with pulp peeled from legs or other parts of poultry that have been smoked. The main thing is to carefully remove the bones, if any, are present in the meat.
Optionally, this simple salad can be supplemented with boiled chicken eggs, pickled cucumbers, capers, etc. - don't limit your culinary fantasies! From fresh herbs, use green onions, if not available, marinate regular onions, squeeze from the marinade and add to the dish.
Remember that dishes seasoned with mayonnaise and stored in the cold have a shelf life of about a day, and those dressed with sour cream - about 3 hours!
Ingredients:
Smoked chicken fillet - 200 g
Tomatoes - 3 pcs.
Green onion - 3 stalks
Mayonnaise - 1.5 tablespoons
Salt and pepper to taste
How to cook:
Prepare food. When purchasing a meat product, be sure to pay attention to its expiration date. Feel free to sniff it if the item is not vacuum sealed.
Cut the smoked chicken fillet into plates, and then into cubes. Place the meat in a deep container.
Rinse the tomatoes in water and cut green cores out of them. Cut into slices and then into cubes, but not small, to make the salad look attractive. If the tomatoes are too juicy, then remove the seeds with juice, leaving only the chopped pulp. Add to chicken.
Place any fat content mayonnaise sauce. You can cook it directly in your kitchen. Here is my recipe for mayonnaise "Provencal". Season the dish with salt and pepper.
Wash the green onion stalks, chop and add to the rest of the ingredients.
If you like salads with a high content of fresh herbs, then additionally rinse the dill or parsley, chop and add to the container. The dish with celery greens stands out especially tasty.
Mix everything gently.
Place the smoked chicken and tomato salad on plates or a platter, serve immediately until it floats.
