If it suddenly seemed to you that there was absolutely no food at home, and the family needed to be fed quickly and satisfyingly, try to cook dinner or lunch according to this recipe. Surely you have a couple of sausages in store for breakfast, rice and some vegetables in the refrigerator, and even more so in the freezer. Many housewives have a Mexican or Italian mixture of frozen vegetables. In addition, many people freeze vegetables for future use in the summer. So, I could not even imagine that it turns out such a delicious dish, be sure to try it, it will come in handy.
Ingredients:
Rice - 1 glass
Sausages - 4 pcs.
Onions - 80 g
Carrots - 80 g
Canned peas - 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
Dill - a couple of twigs
Lean oil - 2 tablespoons
How to cook:
Let's prepare products according to the list. We clean the onions and carrots, wash them with dill. I had canned peas, with them the dish cooks faster, but you can also take frozen ones.
Pour some lean refined oil into a large frying pan, fry the sausages cut into slices until golden brown, remove and set aside for now.
Put onion diced in the same oil, fry for a couple of minutes until transparent.
Add carrots grated on a coarse grater to it, simmer for a minute or two, let it become soft too. If you use frozen vegetables, then they will need to be sent to the pan and stewed after the carrots.
Put the washed rice, fry it along with the vegetables and immediately pour in the boiled hot water. It should cover the rump completely. Close the lid tightly and cook over low heat for 13-15 minutes. The water should completely boil away.
When the rice is completely cooked, return the sausages to the pan and add the peas, salt and pepper to taste. Stir, turn off the stove immediately.
Divide cooked rice with sausages in portions, sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve, ideally with fresh or salted vegetables.
