Beef cooked according to this recipe turns out to be incredibly tasty, it will brighten up any side dish without any problems. The meat is cooked together with vegetables. After frying, all the ingredients are stewed in a gentle sauce based on sour cream and tomato paste. It is the long simmering in the gravy that makes the beef stew with onions and carrots very soft and incredibly juicy, which just melts in your mouth.

This dish can be safely prepared not only for an everyday dinner with the family, but also for special events.

Ingredients:

Beef pulp - 500 gr.

Onion - 1 pc.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Garlic - 3 teeth.

Sour cream - 150 gr.

Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons

Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons

Flour - 1 tbsp.

Hops-suneli - 1 tsp

Water - 250 ml.

Salt, pepper - to taste

How to cook:

Prepare food.

Rinse the meat, blot moisture with a paper towel. Cut into medium sized pieces of approximately the same shape. The size is about 4 centimeters.

At the same time, peel the root vegetables from the top layer, chop the carrots into triangular slices, onions - into squares.

Put a large frying pan on the fire, pour in some vegetable oil. Load prepared vegetables after heating. Saute the carrot-onion mixture for the next 5 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally with a spatula.

Then slide the vegetables into one end of the pan, pour another portion of the oil onto an empty surface. When it's hot, place the pieces of meat.

Grill the beef over high heat for 5 minutes, turning the pieces occasionally. Then stir it with vegetables.

Lightly dust the mixture with flour.

Load the main composition with sour cream and tomato paste in the specified quantities.

Pour in hot water, stirring continuously to distribute the sauces evenly throughout the liquid. Crush the garlic under a press, load the resulting gruel into the pan. Add suneli hops, pepper and salt, based on your own taste.

Simmer the meat and vegetables in the gravy for about 30 minutes over low heat. At the same time, cover the pan with a lid, leaving a lock for the passage of steam. Stir the mixture at intervals.

After stewing, leave the meat with vegetables in a pan for 10 minutes under the lid.

Then add the onion and carrot beef stew to the main course.
