Mimosa salad is incredibly popular on holiday tables in many families in the post-Soviet space. This is not surprising, because it is prepared from the most affordable products, and has a very delicate and well-balanced taste in all ingredients. This salad has long been overgrown with many varieties and options. Today we are going to cook one of the most common - with rice.

Ingredients:

Rice - 100 g

Saury in s / juice - 150 g

Chicken egg - 2 pcs.

Hard cheese - 70 g

Green onion - 1 pc.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Mayonnaise - 4 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

How to cook:

Prepare foods on the list. Wash the carrots under running water with a hard kitchen sponge. Open a can of saury, drain the liquid.

First of all, put the carrots and chicken eggs to cook. For greater safety, the latter can be washed with soap and water.

After boiling, cook the eggs for 8-10 minutes, carrots until soft. Check the readiness of the root crop with a knife or fork. Be sure to cool the eggs, peel them.

At the same time, rinse the rice several times, fill it with water 1 centimeter above the cereal. Boil it on the stove for 15 minutes under a lid until the water boils completely and cooked. Cool the rice, add a little salt and pepper, season with a little mayonnaise, stir.

Use the serving ring to start picking up the salad. Put the boiled rice in the first layer, brush it with a thin layer of mayonnaise, since this cereal is quite dry when ready.

Remove the bones from the saury, remember the fillets with a fork, place on a layer of rice and sprinkle with lightly chopped green onions.

Put the egg whites grated on a coarse grater on top, brush with mayonnaise.

The next layer is grated cheese and mayonnaise sauce.

Peel the carrots, grate on a coarse grater. Place the next layer of carrot shavings and lightly brush them with mayonnaise too.

The upper and last layer is chicken yolks grated on a fine grater. Decorate the salad as you wish. Cover with cling film and let it soak for a while.
