Soviet sweets, high quality and natural, which have disappeared into oblivion. But in vain!

A child (eldest) in a New Year's gift came across a rarity - dragee "Sea stones". No, the fact that they are still somewhere, but released, is understandable. I just didn't see them on the shelves, or I just didn't pay attention to them.

- What is it? - Asked a kinder spoiled with chocolate from all over the world, and was very surprised to hear what you can eat, delicious, this is "Sea stones"!

- Yes, these are real stones! - Kinder puffed after several fruitless attempts to chew the candy.

A hammer was used to make sure otherwise. It's funny, yes. In the middle of the candy, as expected, there was a zest. Why the shell was so hard I have no idea.

In my childhood, "Kamushki" were always in stores, I won't say that I loved them so much, but to buy a hundred or two hundred grams by weight and eat them with the whole company - it was cool! Someone liked red, someone - green, someone chose bluish. I honestly don't remember the difference in taste.

All the colors of the candies had one thing in common - they were delicious, and... soft! I didn't have to break my teeth.

It is believed that in Soviet times, the workers of the confectionery factories dragged from there everything that was not nailed down (and it is true that there were thieves and thieves, but they were caught very diligently). But then why are the primitive "Sea Pebbles" inedible now?

Moreover, this is not the only sweetness that has turned into disgusting. About chocolates, the recipe of which is now being changed by all and sundry, I will not say anything.

But here's another position - caramels in the form of "pillows".

Again, in the "hungry Soviet times" these caramels were everywhere. One sort - "Youth", it seems, was sprinkled with cocoa or cocoa with sugar, I don't remember exactly. The rest are just sugar or powdered sugar.

They were united by one thing, under the crunch of a caramel shell - chocolate, fruit, milk - there was a liquid filling, and it was not so difficult to get to it.

Once I decided to remember my childhood, I bought some "pads". The result was the same as with the "Sea Pebbles" - it was more than difficult to gnaw, and they saved on the filling. God forbid, the filling came across in one of these five candies. Did they do it on different lines and then mix it, or what? Honestly, I can't imagine a technology that will give such a result.

And the dragee - a banal sugar dragee in the glaze - has disappeared altogether, like a class. At least domestically produced. Remember the multicolored polka dots? They were sold by weight, and also in paper bags, fifty, like, grams, or one hundred. It cost a penny to dragee. The composition contains only natural ingredients.

It can be assumed that it would not be in demand now, but no - the niche of this dragee was occupied by all kinds of "Tik-taki" and their variations, with prices much higher even in terms of today's money ...

Yes, I know that regretting such products is now considered a "shame". Like, what dragee, what "pads", what "stones", when can you go to a decent pastry shop and buy craft caramel with sea salt, for example, or elite chocolate with chili? That way fifty grams, given the prices of such sweets and income ...

But I have a question - why, in the same England, traditional, bright, inexpensive sweets continue to be made in the twenty-first century, but here we are were left without their own... At the same time, sweets came to replace them in the "economy class" of delicacies, from the composition of which it becomes bad only when reading ...
