Spring rolls with shrimps and vegetables

Spring rolls are a mega popular Asian dish. They are very quick to prepare, tasty, healthy and low in calories. The sauce for such a snack can be prepared on the basis of soy sauce with the addition of hot pepper, or you can serve them with a ready-made sweet chili sauce, which is sold in many large stores. There you can also buy rice paper, today it costs a penny.

Be sure to try making spring rolls with vegetables and shrimps on occasion. Such a dish can even be put on a festive table, everyone eats it with pleasure.

Ingredients:

Rice paper (packaging) - 1 piece

Lettuce - 1 bunch

Carrots - 1 pc.

Watermelon radish - 1 pc.

Tomato - 1 pc.

Shrimp - 500 g

Cucumber - 1 pc.

Cilantro - a couple of twigs

Lean oil - 1 tsp

Soy sauce and sesame seeds - for serving

How to cook:

Prepare foods on the list. Defrost the shrimps in advance. Peel carrots and radishes, wash with other vegetables under running water, dry.

Peel the tomato and cut it into thin slices along with the cucumber. Grate carrots and watermelon radish for Korean carrots. Place everything in a convenient bowl and set aside.

Peel the shrimp from the shell, fry in a little vegetable oil for about a minute on both sides. Remove them from the pan and cool.

There are 8 sheets of rice paper in a standard package, so we get 8 pieces of ready-made rolls.

Dip the rice paper in a bowl of cold water, place it on a comfortable flat surface, and let it soften for a few seconds.

Place the lettuce, carrots, radish, a couple of cucumber, tomato slices, a few shrimp tails, and a sprig of cilantro on the rice paper. Sprinkle sesame seeds on the ingredients.

Wrap the shrimp vegetables in rice paper like regular stuffed cabbage rolls, folding the edges inward.

Transfer the spring rolls to a serving platter. Place them a short distance apart, as the rice paper can stick together. Serve the finished rolls with soy or sweet chili sauce.
