Today we will prepare a simple and tasty, hearty dish that will delight all family members. Both adults and children will certainly appreciate it. Cooking chicken and potato sauce. Thick tomato soup, soft melting potatoes, vegetables and chicken pieces are simply amazing, the taste buds will be delighted.

Any part of the chicken can be used to prepare this dish. You can also add vegetables to your taste.

You can serve the finished dish for lunch or dinner. You will certainly be satisfied, and to make it even tastier, invite your household to supplement the sauce with pickled cucumbers, pickles or a handful of fragrant fresh herbs.

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes - 400 g
  • Chicken thighs (boneless and skinless) - 300 g
  • Carrots - 1 pc.
  • Onions - 1 pc.
  • Tomato juice - 500 ml
  • Tomato sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Salt, pepper, dry garlic - to taste
  • Bay leaf - 2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.

Prepare everything according to the list. For this recipe, it is best to use a cast iron pot with thick sides and bottom.

Peel carrots and onions. Rinse the vegetables, dry. Cut the onion into half rings, cut the carrots into large pieces.

Chicken thighs use skinless and boneless, clean fillet. Rinse, then cut them into strips.

Peel and rinse potato tubers. Cut into large pieces.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Put onions, carrots, chicken - fry for 8-10 minutes - until golden brown.

Transfer the potatoes and ingredients from the skillet to a cast iron pot. Add salt, pepper, dry garlic, a couple of lavrushkas at once.

Pour the tomato into a saucepan and add the sauce. Stir everything. Cover the saucepan with a lid, put on a small fire. Simmer all ingredients for 40 minutes.

Serve the finished dish with herbs.
