A full-fledged hearty and delicious lunch for meat eaters and lovers of fried potatoes with oiled onions. Juicy pork is cooked with a side dish in the same pan, which minimizes the hassle of the cook and gives an excellent result.

Meat with potatoes in a pan is a dish without gastronomic delights, overseas seasoning and complex technology, but incredibly appetizing and deservedly revered by many. After removing from heat, serve immediately, with pickles, fresh vegetables and herbs.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 1000 g

Pork - 400 g

Onions - 1 pc.

Vegetable oil - 50 ml

Greens - 30 g

Salt, black pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - To make your homemade pan fry, take the food listed. Choose vegetable oil that is refined, suitable for frying, and with a neutral flavor. In addition to salt and hot pepper, the dish is seasoned with ground mixtures for meat and potatoes, herbs, and garlic.

Step 2 - After washing the pork pulp, cut into cubes of the same size (about 2x2x2 cm). Suitable: shoulder blade, ham, neck, other parts of the carcass with a small presence of fatty layers. Chop the onion into thin half rings / feathers, and the peeled potato tubers into short sticks.

Step 3 - Heat the pan, pour in the vegetable oil (about half, add the rest with potatoes). Place the meat and fry at high heat until lightly golden brown for about 5 minutes. Do not salt, it will come out juicier. Hold the salt and pepper until the end of cooking.

Step 4 - Add the potato slices to the steamed pork, stir and fry for 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally with a spatula.

Step 5 - When the potatoes are almost softened, toss in the onions and salt. After stirring, simmer under the lid for another 5-7 minutes.

Step 6 - Remove the pan from the stove, season the roast with black pepper and finely chopped fresh herbs (dill, parsley, green onions). If you want it sharper, more aromatic - additionally grind a couple of cloves of garlic.

Step 7 - Serve the tender pork and potatoes in the skillet immediately, hot in the heat.

Prepare in advance a delicious sauce, pickles, chop a salad of fresh vegetables.
