Bulgur is a delicious and very popular cereal in the Middle East. There it is served as a side dish to various dishes of meat, poultry or fish. Bulgur is often included in salads with fresh vegetables.
The value of this cereal is not only that during cooking it triples in size, it is also a very useful product for the body, it is not just that athletes include it in the diet. Today bulgur can be bought in almost all stores, so be sure to buy and cook.
Ingredients:
Chicken fillet - 200 g
Bulgur - 150 g
Bulb onions - 0.5 pcs.
Carrots - 1 pc.
Champignons - 150 g
Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
Salt to taste
Ch.m. pepper - taste
Parsley - a couple of twigs
Preparation:
1. Prepare all the foods on the list.
2. Rinse the bulgur several times to clean water. Pour the cereal in a 1 to 2 ratio, cook over low heat in slightly salted water for 15 minutes until tender.
3. While the bulgur is cooking, heat refined odorless vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry finely diced onions and thin slices of peeled and washed carrots in it. Cook for 3 minutes, until soft.
4. Peel the mushroom caps, cut into small cubes, add to the pan to the vegetables, cook for 3-4 minutes.
5. Wash the chicken fillet, dry with paper towels, cut into thin slices, put in a pan with vegetables. It prepares very quickly and our task is to keep it juicy. Simmer vegetables with chicken fillets for 5 minutes, no longer.
6. During this time, the bulgur should have already been cooked. Transfer the prepared cereal to vegetables with chicken, stir, salt and pepper to taste.
7. Divide the finished dish into portions, sprinkle with fresh herbs.
8. It is very tasty to serve it with a salad of fresh vegetables - cucumbers, tomatoes, salad onions with olive oil and herbs.
