Making Mimosa with Crab Sticks

Today I propose you to cook an unusual version of the familiar Mimosa salad. The base is delicious crab sticks. We also add carrots, potatoes, cucumber, onions and, of course, an egg. Traditional dressing - mayonnaise. The recipe is very simple, but the taste of the dish is quite interesting, new and unusual.

You can serve a ready-made salad on a festive or everyday table; for a variety of diet, this is an excellent option. Take note of the recipe, I hope you enjoy the result.

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes - 1 pc.
  • Crab sticks - 70 g
  • Carrots - 1 pc.
  • Onions - 0.5 pcs.
  • Fresh cucumbers - 0.5 pcs.
  • Chicken eggs - 1 pc.
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt, pepper - to taste

Prepare foods according to the list.

Boil or bake carrots, potatoes in advance. Boil a hard-boiled egg, cool, peel. Also defrost crab sticks, remove the film. Prepare a fresh cucumber, peel the onion.

Now you need to take a plate for salad, set a culinary ring in the center, which will give the finished dish a beautiful even shape.

So, the first layer is carrots - grate on a medium grater, put in a mold. Add salt and pepper to taste. Grease each layer of salad with a little mayonnaise.

Next is a layer of chicken protein, grated with medium shavings.

Rinse fresh cucumber, chop finely and put on top of the protein.

Then cut the crab sticks into small pieces. Cover the cucumber slices with them.

Put finely chopped onion in the next layer.

Grate potatoes on a medium grater. Lay with the penultimate layer.

That's all. The final layer of Mimosa salad with crab sticks is chopped yolks.

Insist the dish for an hour, then you can carry it to the table. You can serve it to guests in portions - a very beautiful modern serving will definitely please the guests.
