Olivier with salted salmon is one of the most delicious options for everyone's favorite traditional salad. You can afford to cook it for the birthdays of your relatives or for the New Year, it will not leave anyone indifferent.

The fish must be taken necessarily salted, since lightly salted fish will be lost among the other ingredients and its unique taste will not be felt. By the way, you can pickle salmon yourself at home, it's quite simple.

Ingredients:

  • Salted salmon - 200 g
  • Potatoes - 400 g
  • Carrots - 100 g
  • Chicken egg - 2-3 pcs.
  • Canned peas - 4 tablespoons
  • Pickled cucumber - 100 g
  • Mayonnaise - 3 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Ch.m. pepper - taste

Prepare all the necessary foods from the list. Wash the vegetables with a hard kitchen sponge under running water. Boil them together with eggs until tender, cool. Carrots, as a rule, are cooked for 15 minutes, large potato tubers - 20 minutes, eggs - you should not cook for more than 10 minutes. Cool everything down.

Remove the salmon fillet from the skin. Use tweezers to remove the thin bones along the back.

Peel cooled vegetables and eggs from the shell.

First of all, cut the pickles, add green peas to them.

If you plan to prepare your salad ahead of time, always stack the vegetables in that order. So cucumbers with peas will not acidify other ingredients.

Potatoes, carrots and eggs are easiest and quickest to chop into the same cube using a special cutting device.

Salted salmon can be diced slightly larger. So it will be clearly visible in the salad among other ingredients, and the fish will taste better.

Refuel everything mayonnaise good quality. Pepper to taste. Salt, in principle, can be omitted. Stir.

You can arrange the ready-made salad "Olivier" with salmon in portions using a serving ring. In this form, it will look very presentable.
