It is unlikely that anyone will refuse a fragrant and ruddy pizza with sausage, tomatoes and cheese, if, moreover, it is prepared at home. Such pastries are juicy and tasty, and the sausage can be used as dairy, doctor's, and smoked, raw smoked, salami and even hunting sausages - to taste.
For those who do not like to bother with yeast dough, the option of preparing it in water and oil with the addition of baking powder is suitable. To prevent it from tearing during rolling, it needs a "rest" for 20 minutes - during this time, gluten is activated and the product will become more elastic and pliable.
You can roll out the dough on parchment paper and transfer it to a mold greased with lard or vegetable oil. The recipe uses a mold with a diameter of 26 cm.
Ingredients:
Milk sausage - 200 g
Tomatoes - 4 pcs.
Hard cheese - 120 g
Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Warm water - 100 ml
Vegetable oil - 40 ml
Wheat flour - 1 tbsp.
Baking powder - 0.25 tsp
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
1. Beat the chicken egg with a pinch of salt in a deep bowl. Pour in water and vegetable oil, leaving a little oil to grease the mold. Stir in and add sifted wheat flour and baking powder.
2. Knead a firm dough, adding more flour, if necessary. Leave to rest for 20 minutes, covered with a towel or napkin. The amount of flour can directly depend on the size of the chicken egg.
3. After the specified time, roll the dough into a circle, grease the mold and put the rolled layer into it, going over the sides and shaping them with your hands. Mix the ketchup with mayonnaise and brush the base with it. Grate hard cheese with fine cells, sprinkle the base with half of the grated mass, leave the second part of the cheese shavings for later.
4. Cut the sausage into large slices, put in any order on the shredded cheese mass. You can cut it into cubes, grate - if desired.
5. Rinse the tomatoes and cut each in half. Cut out the cores and cut into circles, wedges, slices, etc. Lay out on the base. Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees, place the dish in the oven and bake the dish for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
6. Then remove and sprinkle with the remaining cheese mass - the cheese will melt when it comes into contact with the hot pizza. Then cool the dish slightly and decorate with fresh herbs.
Serve the cooked pizza with sausage, tomatoes and cheese to the table warm, if desired, cut into portions.
