Slimming kefir cocktail with cucumber and herbs

Kefir with cucumber and herbs is a low-calorie and healthy drink that you can easily prepare in your kitchen. It is done in literally 5 minutes, while it can be served both for breakfast / dinner and in between meals. Such a cocktail is especially relevant in the spring-summer season, when fresh greens and early cucumbers are available almost around the clock in nearby markets, in a supermarket or in your garden.

The recipe uses fresh dill, but you are free to experiment and prepare a dietary kefir smoothie with spinach, parsley, stalk celery and even cilantro if you like the aroma and taste of this plants. Choose kefir of any fat content, but always fresh. It is permissible to purchase a two-day dairy product, but no more, since it becomes sour every day.

Ingredients:

Kefir of any fat content - 250 ml

Fresh cucumbers - 3 pcs.

Dill - 0.5 bunch

Salt - 3 pinches

Prepare the food you need.

Rinse fresh cucumbers in water, carefully removing dust and thorns from their surface. If they are large, use 1 vegetable. If small, then 2-3 pcs. If desired, you can remove the peel and even the seeds inside the fruit.

Be sure to taste the cucumbers - they can be bitter. Such an ingredient will spoil the taste of the entire drink if not removed in time! Cut each fruit in half and cut into half rings.

Rinse the dill and chop.

Pour chopped cucumbers and herbs into a blender bowl.

Try to use a jug blender, not a submersible, otherwise you will not get a cocktail, but a puree mass.

Pour kefir of any fat content into the container and salt.

Be sure to taste the dairy product too, so that it is not too sour. If it still tastes sour, then it is best to serve it not for breakfast, but for snacks between meals.

Whisk the contents of the bowl for about 2-3 minutes, until the cucumber slices are properly chopped and mixed with the rest of the ingredients.

If desired, you can pour in a little high-quality cold-pressed olive oil, unrefined sunflower oil, or add a couple of pinches of ground black pepper.

Pour the prepared kefir with cucumber and herbs smoothie into a pitcher / glasses / cups and serve immediately until the drink is stratified.

It is not necessary to prepare such a cocktail in advance, since the longer it is stored in the cold, the less useful vitamins and microelements it retains.
