Ingredients:
Pork - 300 g
Potatoes - 300 g
Champignons - 100 g
Onions - 1 pc.
Carrots - 1 pc.
Garlic - 2 teeth
Flour - 1 tbsp. l.
Tomato paste - 2 tbsp l.
Water - 300 ml
Salt, hot peppers, herbs - to taste
Step by step recipe:
To cook meat in pots with potatoes and mushrooms, take the foods on the list. Suitable for both pork and beef, poultry, etc. Chicken, turkey, pork flesh will be steamed sooner, beef or lamb cuts are harder, more time may be required.
We reveal the meat flavor - chop the pure pork rather coarsely, into cubes of approximately the same size and fry on high heat in a pan with the addition of vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes, until light crusts.
We lay out slightly fried pork in ceramic pots.
In the rest of the oil and the released meat juice, we continue to brown the onions and carrots. Chop in any way you like, but not too finely. Saturate with oil for a couple of minutes.
We fry vegetables with mushrooms for another minute and a half. After thoroughly washing, chop the champignons in an arbitrary way, safely leave small ones whole or in halves.
To thicken the gravy, add wheat flour to the assortment, stir quickly. Immediately add a portion of tomato paste, stir again with a spatula, caramelize a little and enhance the aroma of the mixture for about a minute.
Fill with drinking water, stirring continuously, bring to a boil and thicken. Season with salt, pepper and, if desired, your favorite spices.
Cut the peeled potato tubers into quarters or large pieces, load them into pots following the meat. Throw in a garlic clove and fill with tomato gravy with mushrooms and vegetables. We install the lids and send them on a pallet to a hot oven for 35-45 minutes, simmer at 180 degrees.
We immediately serve pork with potatoes and mushrooms in pots to the table along with fresh herbs and pickles.
