However, poultry is boiled for at least 1-1.5 hours, so be patient and start preparing lunch in advance, taking into account this nuance. It is best to divide the carcass into parts - this will save cooking time.
Don't forget to add bay leaves, dried herbs and spices to make the broth more flavorful. Boil the chicken first, then add the vegetables - do not put everything together, otherwise the meat will turn out to be very tough, undercooked.

Ingredients:
Homemade chicken (parts) - 350 g
Carrots - 1 pc.
Onions - 1 pc.
Vermicelli - 150 g
Potatoes - 3 pcs.
Water - 1.5 l
Salt and pepper to taste
Thyme - 3 branches
Bay leaves - 3 pcs.
Greens to taste
How to cook:
Prepare food.
Rinse the chicken parts thoroughly. Put them in a cauldron or saucepan, cover with cold water and add bay leaves, fresh thyme. Place the container on the stove and turn on medium heat, bring to a boil and be sure to remove the resulting foam. Boil the chicken for 1-1.5 hours if it is homemade, or 30-40 minutes if it is broiler.
Peel the root vegetables, rinse each of them thoroughly under running water. Grate the carrots on a fine-mesh grater, chop the onions into small cubes, and medium the potatoes.
When the liquid in the pan has decreased by about 1.5 times, the chicken is ready.
Add vegetable slices to broth. Cook the soup over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
Pour in the noodles and simmer the dish for another 5-8 minutes on minimum heat, covering the cauldron with a lid.
Rinse the fresh herbs and chop them 2-3 minutes before cooking, then add to the broth and stir. Taste the chicken soup and adjust if necessary.
Pour the prepared first course into portioned deep plates, put a portion of the boiled chicken in each of them and serve hot. Do not forget about bread slices, sour cream. Peeled cloves of garlic can be offered for those who like dishes with a more savory taste.
