Beetroot with garlic and cheese: a universal snack for every day (any cheese works)

In my opinion, the combination of boiled beets with cheese and garlic is just perfect. The recipe for this appetizer is well suited to everyday meals.

Absolutely any cheese is suitable here - hard, curd, processed and even feta cheese. Instead of mayonnaise, you can use other dressings, for example, low-fat natural yogurt or extra virgin olive oil - they also make it tasty and healthier. If you wish, you can add your favorite nuts, only they need to be slightly dried in a pan.

Ingredients:

  • Beets - 300 g
  • Hard cheese - 100 g
  • Chicken egg - 2 pcs.
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ch.m. pepper - taste

Prepare all the necessary foods from the list.

Beets must be cooked in advance, since the root vegetable takes a very long time to prepare. You need to wash with a hard kitchen sponge and boil in plenty of water or bake in foil in the oven. Depending on the size, this can take from 30 to 50 minutes. Also the site has an excellent microwave beetroot recipe, it is the fastest and most convenient.

Boil the eggs. By time - no longer than 10 minutes. Cool and peel them.

Take your favorite hard cheese like Russian, grate it and chicken eggs on a coarse grater. Transfer these ingredients to a comfortable deep bowl.

Wear kitchen gloves to avoid getting your hands painted. Peel the beets, grate them on a coarse grater, transfer to the eggs and cheese.

Pass the garlic clove straight through the garlic and into the salad. Add favorite mayonnaise, natural yogurt or olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir the appetizer, let it brew for a couple of minutes and soak in the aroma and taste of garlic.
