Such cakes can easily replace bread.

They are prepared very quickly and simply, but it turns out very tasty!

The cakes are airy, tender.

They go well with both soup and tea.

You can add greens, your favorite seasonings to such cakes and then the taste will sparkle with new colors!

For cooking you will need:

Flour - 300 gr.
Milk or water - 150 ml.
Vegetable oil (in the dough) - 2 tablespoons
A pinch of salt.
Soda - 0.5 tsp.
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Vegetable oil - for frying.
Dried garlic - optional.

Step-by-step cooking recipe:

1. Sift the flour into a deep bowl and make a depression in the middle.

Salt, add dry garlic (optional).

2. Pour milk or water, add soda slaked with vinegar and 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil and begin to knead the dough.

The dough should not stick to your hands. We form a bun, cover with a towel and let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

3. Divide the dough into walnut-sized balls. I got 11 balls. Roll each ball into a cake, about 3-5 mm.

4. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil (2 tablespoons) and fry the cakes for 2-3 minutes on each side. Then we transfer it to paper napkins, so we get rid of excess oil.

Bon Appetit!
