I like cutlets and cabbage rolls very much, but, to be honest, I'm fed up already…. I want something new. And recently I accidentally found a recipe for this meat dish. The taste is not like cutlets or lazy cabbage rolls.
You can do it from any meat or from ready-made minced meat. Whom it is more convenient. Yes, and a budget meat dish is obtained.
My husband also really liked these "sloths". I don’t know why, but I called them that way... And now in our family everyone calls this dish that way.
It turns out "sloths" are very juicy, aromatic and tasty. You can even cook them for a festive table.
For video lovers, I have prepared a short video recipe, see:
Step-by-step recipe for cooking a meat dish with a photo:
Prepare vegetables and meat. All this will need to be twisted in a meat grinder. If you take ready-made minced meat, then you can grind the vegetables in a blender. Or use a grater.
I cut the carrots into cubes.
I cut the onion into 4 parts.
I cut the cabbage into pieces.
I also cut the meat into pieces.
And here is our beggar :) If there is a smell of meat or fish in the kitchen, it will not leave me alone until I treat me to a bite :) Is it the same for you?
Grind in a meat grinder. This is done very, very quickly.
Finely chop the herbs: I have parsley and dill.
I add to the minced meat.
Oatmeal is also minced. I always use long-cooked oatmeal.
Salt and pepper to taste.
I add one egg and mix well.
Here is such a bright minced meat.
I moisten my hands in water and form these cutlets:
It turns out that I have 8 of them, just fit in a frying pan.
I heat up a frying pan with butter, spread out the "sloths" and fry on each side over medium heat for 3 minutes.
Prepare the sauce:
Add sour cream and tomato paste to clean water (I have pepper paste), a little salt and mix.
I pour this sauce over our meat dish. I reduce the heat to a minimum, cover the lid and cook for another 20-25 minutes.
All! The dish is ready! The aroma is amazing. It turns out very tasty and juicy. I recommend cooking. Bon Appetit! The sauce will be absorbed into the "sloths", it will not remain.
