Everything is extremely simple! We pre-wash apricots and take a regular sushi stick or a regular pencil.
Apricots have 2 sides - the one where the stalk grew and one more. Here we need exactly the second one 😂. Let's call it a "nose".
From the side of the "nose" I press the sushi stick on the bone and from the side of the stalk it flies out in a second! Well super, isn't it ?!
All! It is so easy and simple to separate an apricot bone: be it ripe, overripe or unripe.
And here is the secret of how to make sure that the fruit remains intact when cooking jam. Apricots need to be chopped from all sides with an ordinary toothpick, and then when cooking, the juice will come out through these small holes and the apricot will not boil down.
