I don't have a special grater for Korean carrots (I don't cook them so often), and sometimes I really want to make this salad! And this simple way of slicing is more than ever in handy.
It takes about 20 minutes for 1 kilogram of carrots. I think it is very fast. We do everything without a grater.

Here's my advice from the experience of such a carrot slicing: start slicing carrots from thin end to thick, then it will be very quick and easy.

These are the plates I got.
I divide the plates into 2 parts so that it is easier to cut. I cut one part of the plates into 2 parts. The carrots were quite long.
And I cut it into strips thinly with an ordinary knife. Just look at what kind of cut for carrots in Korean it turns out (scroll through the photo above). You can cut it even thinner, but I do not like it when completely "strings" are obtained. Not worse than from the store! How do you like this idea?
