New appetizer for the festive table!
You always want to cook something new for the New Year's table. I would like to offer you a very interesting crab stick appetizer.
No, not even that! Try the crab sticks in a fresh, fun serving. The taste is so unusual that very few people can immediately determine what this appetizer is from! And I bet you will definitely be asked for the recipe!
And there is no recipe here, one might say. It's very, very simple.
Of course, you can simply cut the crab sticks as you like - into circles, stripes or cubes.
But I like to serve them in an unusual way)) So that even in appearance it would not immediately be possible to understand that these are the most ordinary crab sticks.
I unfold each stick and lay them out in a "stack". I take the sticks chilled (not frozen) - they unfold better.
I cut it into thin strips with a knife.
I put the chopsticks in a bowl. And I'm preparing the marinade.
In a deep plate I mix vegetable oil, juice of half a lemon, paprika flakes, aromatic herbs (I have thyme, basil and oregano), some dry parsley (or you can chop a few fresh sprigs) and a clove garlic.
With hot pepper, by the way, the taste is even more interesting!
Pour the prepared marinade on the sticks (or rather "crab stripes") and mix gently.
I put it in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours! This dish MUST be infused!
And you can serve! I highly recommend trying it!
