A very simple dough, but it turns out incredibly tasty with any filling! I have long been convinced that the simpler, the tastier! Today I have a tear-off cabbage pie.
I'll make the dough. I add salt, sugar, dry yeast to the sifted flour. I stir it.
I pour in vegetable oil and warm water. Instead of water, sometimes I take milk or potato broth - it turns out even tastier.
I knead the dough. It shouldn't stick to your hands. If it sticks, I add a little more flour. But just a little, so as not to "hammer" the dough with flour! I put the dough in a bowl and leave to rise in a warm place for 40-50 minutes.
Then I transfer the dough to the board and divide it into 10-12 pieces.
I collect each piece into a ball. Then I form a cake from the ball. You can use a rolling pin, but I usually just do it with my hands. In the video, you can see the whole process in more detail.
I spread the filling on each cake and form such an open pie:
The filling can be anything. At the end of the article, I will leave a link to 15 types of fillings with which I prepare such a pie. Today I have cabbage pie. I grease the form with butter and put the pies in it.
I leave it on the table for another 10 minutes, then put it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. After 25 minutes, grease the pie with whipped yolk and milk. And I leave it in the oven for another 10 minutes.
Be guided by your oven. This is how the cake should brown:
I leave it in the form to cool down a little, and serve. This is delicious! And the main thing is simple!
