Fried vinaigrette: my little secret that makes the dish even tastier

Insanely delicious vegetable dish! I even serve this to guests. I haven't met the indifferent yet!

First, pickle onions. I cut it into quarter rings. I add salt, sugar and vinegar. I fill it with water so that it completely covers the onion. Leave to marinate for 20 minutes.

All other vegetables are cut into equal pieces. I cut it into cubes - we like it better. Everything can be cooked in one pan. But I fry the beets separately - it turns out more appetizing.

In the second pan, I first fry the carrots.

After a couple of minutes, add the potatoes and fry until the vegetables are ready.

Salt at the very end. And now my secret. I add pickled onions to the vegetables and fry them a little. Of course, I drain the water. I fry for 2-3 minutes. The aroma is amazing (it even smells a little barbecue)! Of course, you don't have to pickle the onions in advance, but add fresh ones. But with pickled it turns out much more aromatic and tastier.

The dish is almost ready. Add the fried beets, stir and serve immediately. You can sprinkle with fresh herbs.

This is delicious! Many add pickles or sauerkraut here. But, believe me, this is unnecessary here. I highly recommend making it according to the recipe.

• Beets - 3 pcs.
• Carrots - 2 pcs.
• Potatoes - 4-5 pcs.
• Onion - 1 pc.
• Sugar - 1 tsp.
• Apple cider vinegar - 2 tsp.
• Greens
• Salt
