The dough is universal. I use it to make desserts, rolls, pizza, dumplings, pies, and tortillas. You can freeze!

I will make the dough:

Everything is elementary! Sift flour with baking powder into a bowl.

You can use baking soda and citric acid instead of baking powder

I add butter (or butter margarine) and grind it into crumbs with flour. I do this with a special knife (so that the butter does not melt from the warmth of my hands), but you can, for example, grate the frozen butter on a grater and quickly rub it with your hands - it will also work.

Now sour cream (or kefir). I usually add 15% fat sour cream. But with kefir it also works great. I knead the dough and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

I pre-pack the dough in a bag or plastic wrap

You can cook in an hour. Today I'll show you how I make cakes (very, very tasty). But in the video above (at the beginning of the article) there is a huge number of dishes that can be prepared from this dough. Be sure to see - you will like it))

I cut into parts - from one such part, three cakes are obtained

Dough recipe:

Sour cream (any fat content) - 200 g
Butter (or margarine) - 200 g
Flour - 350 g
Baking powder - 7-8 g

Filling:

Any filling can be! Both sweet and salty - whatever you like. But I most often cook with cottage cheese.

In a bowl I combine cottage cheese, cheese, grated on a coarse grater, chopped dill and garlic (I pass it through a press), salt to taste. It is better to add a little more salt so that the filling is slightly salty (after all, I do not add salt to the dough at all!).

I mix it all - and the filling is ready!

For filling:

• Cottage cheese - 300 g
• Hard cheese - 200 g
• Garlic - 1-2 teeth.
• Greens
• Salt

I roll out a flat cake from the dough, put the filling in the middle.

I collect it with a "bag", press it down with my hands and roll it out a little with a rolling pin. In the video at the end of the article, see how I do it.

I fry the cake on dry frying pan (!) on both sides under the lid.

Better to use a heavy-bottomed pan!

And that's it! The scones are ready! Tasty both hot and cold. And you can freeze such cakes (the taste does not change!). All that remains is to take it out of the freezer and heat it up in the microwave or oven. Very fast and delicious!
