A very tasty addition to many dishes. My bow is not lost!
I recently showed you a way to save dill for the winter. many people liked my idea)) If you missed it, follow the link at the end of the article.
And today I will tell you how else you can save green onions for the winter, except for the well-known freezing and drying.
Watch a short video (less than a minute!) How I do it:
First you need to wash, dry and chop the onion. It doesn't matter how you chop - just chop for convenience.
I send the chopped onion to the blender bowl. There is also garlic, a little dill, salt, honey and oil.
I use olive oil. But, of course, any other will do as well. You can add parsley instead of dill. Instead of honey - a little sugar. But I usually cook in this combination.
I grind it all until smooth.
I serve this sauce with meat, fish, vegetables. I add to casseroles and soups.
But it does not last long in the refrigerator. Therefore, I often freeze this sauce. To do this, put the sauce in a dry ice container with a spoon.
I put it in the freezer. Then I transfer the frozen cubes to a storage container or a regular bag.
Then I use cubes when necessary))
Try it. A very tasty addition to many dishes!
