One of my favorite pepper snacks 😊. I cook very often. Everyone in our family loves pepper, so this jar is enough for us for 3-4 days. I highly recommend giving it a try. I am sure that many will appreciate it!
How I prepare this appetizer, watch the video below at 02:02. There are also 4 more bell pepper recipes. Roasted peppers, fancy stuffed peppers, pepper pancakes and a roasted peppers snack with cheese filling. And a few more secrets of how I store pepper.
First, I bake the pepper. I just wash it and put it on a baking sheet. Entirely. I put it in the oven and cook at 200 degrees for about half an hour. You can turn on the grill for a few minutes and bake until the skins are slightly blackened - this makes the pepper even tastier.
While the pepper is in the oven, I prepare a fragrant dressing. I add garlic to the vegetable oil (I pass it through a press).
Here is dry basil, pepper (I have a mixture of five peppers) and salt. I stir it. While I prepare the pepper, the dressing will just infuse.
Here's a pepper I got:
I put the pepper in a bag and leave it for 10 minutes. After that, the thin skin is easily removed.
I also remove the stalk and seeds and cut the pepper into strips.
I put the pepper in a jar or any other suitable container and fill it with dressing.
Then a second layer of pepper, dressing again, and so on. Here is such a bright and fragrant "jar". I leave it to brew for 3-4 hours and serve. I store it in the refrigerator for about a week.
If you add a little apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, the snack can be stored longer. But we don't need it for a long time)) Try it - it's very, very tasty!
I serve this pepper to meat, rice, pasta. Can be added to salads and sauces. Delicious!
