The workpiece is not quite ordinary. Pickled fried tomatoes. Delicious! Everyone who tried it kept the recipe for themselves.
I recently shared my recipe for tomatoes for the winter, which I roll without salt, without spices and without vinegar. Only water and tomatoes! In winter, tomatoes are as fresh! If you missed it, take a look HERE.
And I showed this recipe in detail in the video (there are also 4 of my favorite harvesting tomatoes for the winter + 4 ways to sterilize cans). A lot of information in one video! Take a look - you'll love it!
How to cook fried tomatoes for the winter
Tomatoes for this recipe need dense and small. Preferably one size. I am using cream. They must first be washed and dried well.
I fry in oil. Caution! Lots of hot splashes! But I do not cover with a lid, otherwise the tomatoes will become soft.
I fry, constantly turning, from all sides. Carefully! It is very important not to overcook the tomatoes. A few minutes - and you're done!
I sterilize the banks in advance. My recipe is designed for liter cans.
At the bottom of each jar - 1 tsp. salt, 3 tablespoons each sugar and 2 tbsp. vinegar. Next - garlic and hot fried tomatoes. I alternate tomatoes with chunks of garlic.
I fill the jars with boiling water (freshly boiled water). From above, under the lids, pour another 1 tbsp. vinegar. Vinegar 9%. I must say right away - NOT A LOT of vinegar! As a result, tomatoes are not sour at all, slightly sweetish. And very tasty!
I screw the jars with sterile lids. Turn it over several times to dissolve the salt and sugar. I wrap it with something warm and leave it until it cools completely.
RECIPE:
Per one liter can:
• Tomatoes (how many will fit in the jar)
• Garlic - 2-3 teeth.
• Sugar - 3 tbsp.
• Salt - 1 tsp. (with a slide)
• Vinegar 9% - 3 tbsp.
• Oil (for frying)
Try to make at least one jar! Delicious tomatoes!
