Today from a friend of my teacher, when asked what the children are given for lunch at school, among the listed dishes, I heard - "hedgehogs", and until the evening I could not find a place for myself, because wanted them immediately. So that the taste was like in childhood, so that juicy, soft, in sauce, well, you understand me.

I will say right away that in my childhood my mother always cooked them with tomato dressing and carrots, but because need to adapt to all family members, then I had to cook at the request of the majority, namely in a creamy gravy.

So, for the Hedgehogs we need:

· Minced meat (to choose what you like) 600-800 gr.

Onion - 1 pc.

· Rice 50 gr.

For the sauce:

· Butter - 100 gr.

Flour-tablespoon

· Milk - 200 ml.

Spices to taste

You remember that I do not like to cook for a long time, therefore, as quickly as I write, it is so fast to cook.

I boil the rice until it is ready. Cooling down.

I mix minced meat with finely chopped onions and boiled rice.

Salt, pepper to taste. If desired, you can add an egg to the minced meat.

Now our task is to form hedgehog balls and put them on a baking sheet.

Making the sauce. Fry flour in a frying pan, add butter, when butter melts and combines with flour, gradually pour in milk and stir constantly to get rid of lumps. It won't take you a lot of time, but you don't need to leave the pan.

The sauce is warmed up. We pour it on the hedgehogs. and put in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

During this time, the hedgehog will cook, and the sauce will brown, but not dry.

That's all. We take out and eat!

Because hedgehogs already have rice, I eat them without a side dish, but if you wish, you can boil potatoes, pasta. What your heart desires.
