Today I want to offer you a recipe for fish balls.

The recipe was born spontaneously. I wanted to cook fish cakes as usual, but I was too lazy and didn’t want to make the dish heavier with oil (even if it was a minimal amount) - I won.

🐟To prepare fish balls, I needed the following products:

  • minced pollock (350 g) - you can take minced meat of any fish,
  • onion 1 piece - 100 g,
  • carrots 1 piece - 100 g,
  • Chinese cabbage - 190 g,
  • oat bran - 10 g,
  • chicken egg - 1 piece,
  • cheese - 60 g (I have mozzarella),
  • natural yogurt - 75 g,
  • salt, black pepper, dry dill.

🐟Cooking.

Add the egg, bran, dry dill to the minced meat, salt and pepper. We leave to insist.

While the minced meat with bran is infused, prepare the vegetables.

Finely grate the carrots, finely chop the onion. Peking cabbage (you can use regular white cabbage) should also be cut into smaller pieces.

Fry onion and carrots in a drop of oil, add cabbage to them and bring to readiness. Do not forget to add a little salt and pepper.

To avoid burning, you can add a little water if the cabbage gives a little juice.

Add vegetables to minced meat and mix.

We form the meatballs and put them in a baking dish.

We send it to an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes.

While the meatballs are roasting in the oven, let's prepare a cheese cap for them.

Mix together the grated cheese and yogurt.

After 15 minutes, we take out the meatballs and put a spoonful of cheese-yogurt mixture on each.

We send it to the oven for another 10 minutes so that the hat is baked.
