Meat appetizer "Men are delighted!" these are tender pieces of boiled meat with a delicious nut-sour cream sauce and a spicy hint of garlic. It is very appetizing and satisfying. This appetizer looks great on a festive table. But also suitable for every day.
It is worth preparing such a meat appetizer once and you will cook it constantly. For its preparation, you can use not only pork, but also chicken, beef, veal.

Snack "Men love it!" not difficult to prepare at all. And this means that even a novice culinary specialist will cope with its preparation.
Be sure to pamper your men and yourself with this unusual meat appetizer.

Ingredients:

  • pork - 1 kg
  • onions - 2 pcs.
  • carrots - 2 pcs.
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper - to taste
  • fresh parsley - for garnish
  • cranberries - for decoration

SAUCE:

  • walnut - 120 g
  • sour cream 20% - 500 ml
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves
  • vinegar 9% - 1 tbsp. l.
  • Dijon mustard (French, granular) - 1 tbsp. l.
  • sugar - 1 tsp l.
  • salt - 1 tsp l.

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare the meat for a snack. Cut 1 kg of meat across the fibers into slices from 7 to 10 mm thick.


If the pieces of meat are large, cut them in half.

2. We beat each piece of meat with a hammer from both sides.
Pepper and salt the prepared meat well. Spread the seasonings over the meat with our hands.
I used a pork loin, but you can also use beef or chicken.

3. Cut two onions into half rings.
Cut two carrots into circles.

4. Put all the chopped onions at the bottom of the pan.
Put pieces of meat on it.
Put chopped carrots on top of the meat.

5. We fill everything with boiling water until the water covers all the contents.
Put the saucepan on the fire and simmer the meat after boiling on a minimum heat for about 40-50 minutes.
Let the cooked meat cool.

6. Cooking nuts for the sauce.
Pour 120 g of walnuts into a frying pan and fry them a little over low heat, stirring occasionally.
We clean the already toasted and cooled nuts from the husk as much as possible.
Chop the nuts into smaller pieces with a knife.

7. Cooking meat sauce.
We take 0.5 liters of sour cream with a fat content of at least 20% and add 1 tsp to it. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tbsp. mustard seeds, it can be replaced with ordinary mustard.
Squeeze 2-3 cloves of garlic here. Mix everything a little.
Pour the prepared nuts into the sauce.

8. Add 1 tbsp to this. vinegar, I use apple cider, but you can also table 9%.
We mix everything.

9. We take out the cooled meat on a plate to drain the broth.

10. Put 3-4 tablespoons on a large flat dish. sauce and distribute it on a plate.
Put the prepared meat on top of the sauce in one layer. Grease the meat with sauce on top.

11. We spread the 2nd layer of meat. On top of all the meat again grease the remaining sauce.

12. Decorate the appetizer with boiled carrot slices, parsley leaves and cranberries.
We put the meat appetizer in the refrigerator and let it brew for 3-4 hours.

The meat appetizer turned out to be very tasty and satisfying. Sour cream sauce with a pleasant sourness of vinegar and nuts goes well with tender meat, and the light aroma of garlic gives the appetizer a very appetizing taste.
